I planted a lilac bush outside our bedroom window when we moved into this house 16 years ago. Finally, it is blooming for the second time ever! I love the scent and have a strong memory of lilacs outside my mom and dad's window when I was young. Although I was probably just oblivious, I remember those times as being very happy.
